Janssen Polska joins the Warsaw Health Innovation Hub

During the meeting at the seat of the Medical Research Agency cooperation agreement
from Janssen signed by dr hab. n. med. Radosław Sierpiński, president of ABM and Tomasz Skrzypczak, managing director of Janssen in Poland.
Warsaw Health Innovation Hub is a joint project of the Medical Research Agency and leading entities in the medicine, pharmacy and biotechnology sectors, coordinated by the ABM Department of Innovation and Biotechnology Development. Thus, WHIH combines the cooperation of the public sector with business in order to create innovative solutions and increase the efficiency of the Polish health care system.
- I am delighted that Janssen Polska has joined the Warsaw Health Innovation Hub today, thanks to which our company will be able to become even more involved in the development of the highest quality innovations in the healthcare sector in Poland. I sincerely hope that we will be able to speak soon
about the first joint innovative projects and initiatives, created for thousands of patients waiting for the chance of a disease-free life - said the managing director of Janssen Polska, Tomasz Skrzypczak.
In Poland, Janssen employs nearly 200 people, and 1,400 patients are currently participating in clinical trials conducted by Janssen in Poland. Eight Janssen products are on the WHO's list of essential medicines. This year, for the 9th time in a row, Janssen has been named # 1 in the "Fortune" list of Most Admired Companies in the Pharmaceuticals category.
