Maciej Miłkowski:

  • In rare diseases, there are more and more narrow indications for specific genetic types.
  • The November list of reimbursable drugs is being worked on. I hope something else will change regarding breast cancer treatment.
  • In the case of cystic fibrosis, we are waiting for the extension of reimbursement and are in talks all the time. Perhaps in September we will be able to complete them.
  • In September we finish all negotiations, October will be the time for organizational work.
  • For neurofibromatosis, centers of excellence are needed, and they are. We received a proposal that 2-3 more such centers should be there. The most important thing now was to extend the pilot, which will allow us to think about organizing more centers.
  • We will be looking into the possibility of introducing the first therapy for neurofibromatosis type 1 patients with inoperable tumors.
