Ministerial team on in vitro has already begun work

The team began work on Monday on a new nationwide infertility treatment program. During its first meeting, the team discussed the eligibility criteria for couples for the planned IVF program. The meeting was attended by experts in reproductive medicine, embryology and oncology, as well as representatives of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tarification.

- Oncology patients must also be included in the IVF program. This is the only chance for them to become parents," the minister stressed

Eligibility of patients with fertility risk will be handled by a special sub-team.
