Why do seniors need vlazines?

Medexpress: Clinical societies and patient organizations, including the Polish Diabetes Association, have launched an appeal to include drugs from three very important therapeutic areas in the list of free drugs for seniors: diabetes, chronic kidney disease and heart failure. What is the reason for this appeal and why did you decide to make it?

Anna Sliwinska: We have decided to make an appeal to the Minister of Health to include flozin in the list of free drugs for seniors 75+, mainly because our seniors suffer greatly from multi-disease (which is proven by scientific data, and Poland is "leading the way" here). Our seniors suffer from multiple diseases, including very often three conditions that sometimes result from each other: diabetes, heart failure and chronic kidney disease. And it's important to remember that these people are chronically ill, that is, for the rest of their lives, with no way to relieve themselves of the expenses they incur. Therefore, in order to relieve seniors of these numerous expenses, we have asked the Ministry of Health to include phlazine, which helps in these three disease areas mentioned, in the list of free drugs for seniors. Phlazine in diabetes not only helps normalize blood sugar levels, but also prevents life-threatening and health-threatening complications, including nephrological and cardiac complications. It is also important to remember that the list of drugs for seniors has not been significantly updated in the areas of diabetes since its inception, as well as the fact that there remain unused funds within just this list. Therefore, we believe that there is room to add flosins to the list of free drugs for seniors.
