Popular vitamin D withdrawn from the market. Check the lot number

The Chief Sanitary Inspector issued a decision on the nationwide recall of the medicinal product:

Vigantol (Cholecalciferolum), 500 µg/ml (20,000IU/ml), oral drops, solution, lot number 19KQ193, expiry 10.2024. The responsible entity is P&G Health Germany GmbH.

The decision was made immediately enforceable.

Reason for withdrawing the above-mentioned of the series was the result of the risk analysis carried out by the MAH concerning the finding, during the stability of the medicinal product, of an out-of-specification result in terms of the parameter of active substance content.

Vigantol is a drug in the form of oral drops containing vitamin D3. The product is intended for children, including infants and premature babies, adolescents and adults.
