Reimbursement: Further changes in the Economic Commission

Two new representatives of the National Health Fund joined the Economic Commission: Piotr Włodarczyk and Wojciech Modzelewski.
• Chairman of the Economic Committee: prof. Mirosław Szeligowski
• Deputy Chairman of the Economic Committee: Joanna Kilkowska
• Secretary of the Economic Committee: Krzysztof Urban
The Economic Committee is a team that conducts price negotiations with applicants on the reimbursement of drugs, foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses and medical devices. The Commission, in accordance with Art. 17 sec. 2 of the Act of 12 May 2011 on the reimbursement of drugs, foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses and medical devices, has 20 members, including 14 representatives of the Ministry of Health and 6 representatives of the President of the National Health Fund.
