These drugs may soon be in short supply. There's a new list of drugs at risk of unavailability

A Notice of the Minister of Health dated April 8, 2024 on the list of medicinal products, foodstuffs for special nutritional purposes and medical devices at risk of unavailability on the territory of the Republic of Poland has been published in the Official Journal of the Ministry of Health.

The list contains 228 items.

What is a list of drugs at risk of unavailability?

According to the so-called "anti-export law," it is the duty of provincial pharmaceutical inspectors to report to the General Pharmaceutical Inspectorate (GIF) drugs that are missing from 5 percent of pharmacies in a given province. The GIF then informs the Minister of Health.
