Why are doctors' rights important?

Recall that the Regional Medical Council of the Wielkopolska Medical Chamber passed a symbolic resolution a year ago, declaring 2023 as the "Year of Physicians' Rights." In doing so, extensive cooperation was established with the self-government of attorneys, which made it possible to take effective measures, including education and awareness-building for medics,
- Thanks to the commitment of the Poznan Regional Bar Council, we have been able to fill these months with valuable initiatives. A series of educational webinars for doctors and dentists is still ongoing, members of our self-government are provided with free assistance of a lawyer during the first hearing if the case concerns the practice of the profession, and the December conference will be an excellent summary of the entire project," believes lek. Marcin Karolewski, vice-president of ORL WIL and Ombudsman for Physicians' Rights.
The event program consists of four sessions. Important issues concerning the violation and defense of the rights of doctors and dentists will be discussed during lectures and panel discussions.
