November is movember. Men grow mustaches and open discussion on male cancer

As we read on the website of the cancer portal Tropic of Cancer, November has been recognized worldwide as a month of solidarity with men facing prostate cancer and testicular cancer. It's not without reason that the Movember 2023 campaign (the so-called "Whiskers") falls on this month. The social action was launched in 1999 in Australia and has spread almost all over the world.
The term Movember was created by combining the two words moustache and November. The goal of the Movember campaign is to change the face of men's health, while the moustache, which was established by the creators as a symbol of the campaign, is to communicate this change of face. The loose and playful form of the campaign is conducive to addressing difficult and important topics. The idea of the Movember campaign is simple - for the whole month of November men grow moustaches, not only as a sign of solidarity, but also to arouse the curiosity of those around them and initiate discussion on the prevention and incidence of prostate and testicular cancer.
