According to the Ministry of the Interior, the grant money will be used, among other things, to maintain rescue readiness and conduct rescue operations, organize and conduct training of mountain rescuers and rescue dogs (including avalanche dogs). The development and provision of avalanche messages and the purchase of basic rescue equipment will also be financed.

With the funds granted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the GOPR will buy modern medical equipment, such as chest compression platforms, cardiac monitors, transport ventilators and equipment for analyzing so-called critical parameters.

Thanks to the signed agreement, GOPR will also have specialized operational and search equipment. Indeed, drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras will be purchased, as well as radio communication devices.
