In the autumn qualification procedure for specialty training, 7995 formally correct applications were submitted. In the first stage, 6149 doctors and dentists were qualified - 4586 in the residency mode and 1563 in the non-residency mode. The CMKPa has published ranking lists and reminds of the deadlines for confirming acceptance of places.

In the autumn intake for specialty training, doctors and dentists submitted a total of 7995 formally correct applications. As part of the first stage of the qualification procedure, 6149 people were qualified, of which 4586 places were allocated for residency training and 1563 for non-residency training.
Ranking lists of qualified and unqualified applicants were published in the Education Monitoring System. In this year's proceedings, 6653 residency spots and 7945 non-residency spots were available.
Each doctor could make up to 15 choices in a single application - specifying the field, province and mode of training. Up to three preferred units could be indicated for each choice.

Confirming your selection
Doctors have 5 days from the publication of the ranking lists to confirm acceptance of their chosen specialty through the SCM. Failure to confirm is tantamount to relinquishing the place awarded in the first stage. Those who do not confirm their selection or are not qualified will automatically advance to the second stage of the procedure.
The deadline for confirmation is November 10. Since November 11 is a public holiday, the results of the second stage will be announced on November 12.
Possible third stage of proceedings
If, after the announcement of the final lists of qualified and unqualified, residency vacancies remain in priority medical fields, the Minister of Health may decide on an additional third stage of recruitment.
This stage may only allocate residency spots in priority fields from the pool not used in previous stages. Information on the possible launch of the third stage will be announced within 5 days after the publication of the final lists.
Who can participate in the additional stage?
- Those not qualified in earlier stages,
- Candidates who indicated at least one option involving a residency mode and a priority medical field,
- people who were not qualified for this option earlier (if someone was qualified and did not confirm admission, this option is not taken into account in the additional stage).
