Mariola Lodzinska: The law on nursing and midwifery professions must be written from scratch

- We have come to have a lot of competencies that we were seeking even before the pandemic. This includes qualifying adults for influenza vaccination or COVID-19.
- We hope to form a team to create, as it were, a law on the nursing and midwifery professions from the beginning.
- Nurses are obtaining very broad qualifications, but it is an open question whether they are using these competencies. Certain pieces of legislation are incompatible with each other.
- Education is not yet fully up to date with current needs.
