The Patient Ombudsman, Bartlomiej Chmielowiec, and the Center for Monitoring Quality in Health Care, represented by Director Agnieszka Pietraszewska-Maketa, have entered into an agreement on cooperation aimed at improving the safety and quality of the health care system in Poland.

The subject of the agreement is to define the principles of cooperation in the area covered by the statutory and regulatory activities of both Partners. The purpose of the cooperation is to carry out projects analyzing and evaluating the state of safety and quality of the health care system, as well as the functioning of medical entities in the country. The Partners plan to promote the results of their projects, publish reports, standards, guidelines and recommendations, and conduct education of medical personnel.
