During the 10th National General Meeting of Delegates, new authorities of the Polish Diabetes Association were elected.

As previously declared, after 16 years in the PSD, including eight years (two terms) as president, purely for personal reasons, incumbent Anna Sliwinska did not stand for election for a third term.
As a result of the elections, Monika Kaczmarek, former Treasurer of the PSD Main Board and President of the Zlotorya District Branch of the PSD, became the new President of the Polish Diabetes Association.

The previous President of the PSD ZG Anna Sliwinska was awarded the title of Honorary President by acclamation by the National General Assembly of Delegates.
Changes in the PSD General Board will not be implemented abruptly. Anna Sliwinska will bid farewell to the PSD ZG slowly and for the next three months (until February 29, 2024) will hand over responsibilities and implement the new president and board. The smooth operation of the organization will be fully preserved.
