- Diagnostic delays should be shortened and doctors in other fields should be educated. A patient with lupus erythematosus, can go to any specialist.
- At the moment, we are relying on drugs that have been available for many years. Another biologic drug is emerging.
- Such treatment reduces the use of glucocorticosteroids or lowering their doses to a minimum, and this translates into a longer life for patients and a lack of complications from such chronic treatment.
