The head of the Ministry of Health recalled that the average number of infections per day remains below a thousand.
- Our forecasts, in which we said that the wave will be extinguished and the risk of another wave will not appear until the turn of the year, have come true - added the minister.
The very low number of vaccinations with the second booster with the use of a preparation protecting against the Omikron variant is disturbing.
- At present, slightly over 700,000 people are vaccinated with the BA.1 or BA.4/5 vaccine. This is very little, because the total number of people who took up the second booster in Poland is 2.5 million - added Adam Niedzielski.
