Bogusław Major as the representative of the Ministry of Health for the security of cyberspace

The plenipotentiary of the Minister of Health for cyberspace security is Bogusław Major.

His tasks include the implementation of the obligations in the Ministry of Health under the provisions of the Act of 5 July 2018 on the national cybersecurity system, including:

1) handling incidents in cooperation with the Computer Security Incident Response Team operating at the national level, run by the Head of the Internal Security Agency, hereinafter referred to as "CSIRT GOV";

2) searching for links between incidents, removing the causes of their occurrence and developing conclusions resulting from incident handling;

3) notifying CSIRT GOV immediately, no later than 24 hours from the moment of detecting an information security incident in the Ministry, which is or may be classified as an incident in a public entity;

4) raising awareness of employees in the field of cybersecurity, providing employees with CSIRT GOV messages and warnings regarding threats in cyberspace and ways to protect against them;

5) developing and supervising procedures for responding to information security incidents in the Ministry;

6) keeping a register of information security incidents and events in the Ministry;

7) identifying and conducting a risk analysis of the Ministry's ICT systems;

8) cooperation in the development of task modules for CRP alert levels, referred to in the order of the Minister of Health of August 18, 2022 on the implementation of projects under individual CRP alert levels and alert levels (Official Journal of the Min. Zdrow item 88).
