Changes in the regulation on restrictions, orders and bans due to the epidemic

The project provides:
1) extension until 30 September 2022 of the validity of the current restrictions, orders and bans specified in the provisions of the amended normative act;
2) restoration of the obligation to provide the service provider with the original referral in paper form within 14 working days from the date of entry on the waiting list referred to in article 2. 20 paragraph 2a point 1 of the Act of 27 August 2004 on health care services financed from public funds (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1285, as amended), as well as the introduction of regulations according to which the application for restoration on the waiting list, the beneficiary will be able to report not later than within 14 days from the date of expiry of the entitlement to be reinstated on this list without the need to prove that the failure to report was due to force majeure;
3) introduction of a transitional provision under which the recipient will be obliged to provide the service provider with the original of the referral within 21 days from the date of entry into force of the regulation, but not later than on the date of providing healthcare services provided on the basis of this referral.
The submitted draft regulation foresees that it will enter into force on August 31, 2022
