The Medical Center for Postgraduate Education has a new director. On September 16, Prof. Krzysztof J. Filipiak, director of the CMKP, appointed Prof. Katarzyna Kosinska-Kaczyńska, Prof. Dorota Koziel, Prof. Jaroslaw Czubak and Prof. Marcin Kurzyna as his deputies.

The first meeting of the new management of the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education was held on September 16, 2025. The director of CMKP, Prof. Krzysztof J. Filipiak, announced the appointment of new deputy directors - vice-rectors-rectors.
- I greatly appreciate the work of my predecessors and their deputies. I especially thank the previous Vice-Rectors Prof. Piotr Jankowski and Prof. Artur Niedzielski for the period of our cooperation," stressed Prof. Filipiak. - My words of thanks also go to Prof. Wojciech Zgliczynski, who completed his mission as Vice-Rector for Human Resources shortly before I became Director. To the previous director of CMKP, Prof. Piotr Kryst, I thank him for taking on the role of Proxy Director for Quality of Education.
The CMKP director noted that the previous several months had been a time of intensive organizational changes - related, among other things, to the entry into force of the new law on CMKP and the integration of the Center for Postgraduate Training of Nurses and Midwives into its structures. - I thank my predecessors very much for their efficient management of this process," he said. The time ahead will bring further challenges - including the development of a new charter for the university and further organizational changes. The support of the newly appointed vice-rectors will be crucial here.
New deputy directors of CMKP:
- Prof. Jaroslaw Czubak - deputy vice-chancellor-vice-chancellor for clinical affairs; head of the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics, Orthopedics and Traumatology at CMKP, national consultant in orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, author of more than 200 publications.
- Prof. Katarzyna Kosinska-Kachinska - vice-rector-rector for teaching; director of the CMKP School of Medical Sciences, head of the Department of Obstetrics, Perinatology and Neonatology, author of more than 100 scientific articles.
- Prof. Dorota Koziel - deputy vice-chancellor-rector for nursing and other health professions; head of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, specialist in surgical nursing, author of more than 160 publications.
- Prof. Marcin Kurzyna - deputy vice-chancellor-rector for scientific affairs; head of the Department of Pulmonary Circulation, Thromboembolism and Cardiology at CMKP, pioneer of balloon pulmonary angioplasty in Poland, author of more than 200 publications cited more than 18,000 times.
The newly appointed deputy directors will be formally recommended to the CMKP Scientific Council (under selection), which will decide on their approval.
