Clinical Research Compensation Fund. What about the Appeals Committee?

The provisions of the draft regulation setting forth the rules of procedure of the Appeals Commission for Benefits from the Clinical Research Compensation Fund, regulate the duties of the Commission's members, the tasks of the Commission's chairman, the manner of election and removal of the Commission's chairman and vice-chairman, as well as the procedure for holding Commission meetings.
With regard to the issue of remuneration, the draft provides that a member of the Commission is entitled to remuneration for participation in each meeting in the amount of 15% of the average monthly remuneration in the enterprise sector without payments of prizes from profit in the fourth quarter of the previous year, announced by way of a notice by the President of the Central Statistical Office in the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland "Monitor Polski," taking into account the monthly remuneration limit referred to in Article 55 paragraph 10 of the Act. According to the aforementioned provision, the one-time remuneration may not exceed 20% of the average monthly remuneration in the enterprise sector without payments of prizes from profit in the fourth quarter of the previous year, announced, by way of a notice, by the President of the Central Statistical Office in the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland "Monitor Polski." However, on a monthly basis, the remuneration for participation in the work of the Commission may not amount to more than 120% of the average monthly remuneration in the enterprise sector without payments of prizes from profit in the fourth quarter of the previous year.
