Donald Tusk on abortion and the morning-after pill

Although the abortion bill is expected to be tabled soon, as announced by the Prime Minister, it is doubtful that it will be passed by the Diet.
- Szymon Holownia and Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz made no secret of the fact that they have a different view on the issue. Anyone who voted for the Polish People's Party or for Poland2050 could not doubt that on the issue of abortion they are in favor of the so-called compromise and later referendum. Nor could anyone doubt that with the Civic Coalition the project is legal and safe abortion up to the 12th week," said Donald Tusk.
- Since I have not convinced the Speaker and Deputy Prime Minister to approve the KO project, we will try to pass it in the Diet. Will there be a majority vote for this? If the Third Way doesn't change its mind, probably not," the prime minister admitted.
As he added, the government is currently working to ensure that, regardless of the progress or lack of progress in the procedure of the laws, the practice of hospitals will change. As Donald Tusk pointed out, doctors were afraid of making decisions to terminate pregnancies in cases of danger to the woman, because they feared prosecution.
Meanwhile, a draft is ready, which will give the option of using the "morning-after" pill without a prescription.
