On Wednesday, just before 10:00 a.m., there was a failure in the database systems of the National Emergency Medical Service Command Support System. Despite the technical problems, emergency calls to 999 were answered by medical dispatchers, and calls were handled by telephone in accordance with emergency procedures.
The ministry assures that the malfunction did not affect the receipt of calls and the dispatch of medical rescue teams to emergency events. Immediately upon discovering the malfunction, engineers from the National Emergency Medical Monitoring Center went to work, diagnosing the problem and taking corrective measures.

At 12:52 p.m., the system was restored to full operation thanks to the activation of a backup center. As stressed, the problem was not the result of a hacking attack.
Once the malfunction has been corrected, a detailed analysis will be conducted to determine the causes of the incident and prevent similar situations in the future.
