His mandate as a member of the Advisory Board will be for a period of 4 years, starting from the annual congress in Marseille in October 2024 until the congress in 2028. Prof. Stojko's task as a member of the Advisory Board is to represent Poland, promote the activities of the Association, including the ESGE Annual Congress, the ESGE Journal and the GESEA Education Program, the GESEA Education Program. As a member of the ESGE Advisory Board, he will have an impact on the creation of ESGE development policy. - I am extremely proud to represent Poland. It shows the appreciation of our achievements on a European scale. The achievements are evidenced, for example, by statistics on the significant increase in minimally invasive procedures in gynecology. For example, the number of minimally invasive uterine removal surgeries has increased from 10 percent to 55 percent in eight years. Minimally invasive gynecology is safer for patients, the number of complications is decreasing significantly. This is a path we are heading down very consistently," explains Prof. Rafal Stojko.
