The Ordinance of the President of the National Health Fund was published, amending the ordinance on the reporting rules and conditions for the settlement of healthcare services related to the prevention, prevention and combating of COVID-19.
Home Medical Care: PLN 49 for program qualification

The change introduced by this ordinance is intended to support and improve the treatment process of SARS-CoV-2 virus infected, qualified for the Home Medical Care (DOM) program. This support is based on encouraging inclusion and active participation by regularly monitoring the health of patients participating in the program (using data obtained from pulse oximeters obtained under the program).
For this purpose, a new billing product was created in this ordinance: Qualification for the Home Medical Care program and monitoring of patient activity in the program worth PLN 49.58 (valuation prepared by the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariffs).
It will be possible to settle it when the patient, for at least 5 of the 7 consecutive days during the isolation period, takes the pulse oximeter obtained as part of the DOM program at least twice a day and enters the data into the DOM Doctor application. The value of the product also includes: patient registration in the program, instructions on the need to test with a pulse oximeter for the next 7 days, as well as checking the activity in the application each day and possibly talking to the patient to remind them to perform a pulse oximeter test.
The Home Medical Care program is designed to remotely monitor the health of patients. The program uses the pulse oximeter as a diagnostic tool and the Home Medical Care application to transmit and monitor patient data.
The provisions of the ordinance apply to the settlement of benefits provided from February 1, 2022
