Hope or experience?

Besides, the information that reached the media long before these official declarations, in a way, anticipated Leszczyna's message. Being allowed to run in the EP elections was supposed to be either a reward for merits in the first months of government, or, in certain cases, a form of political deal between the prime minister and a minister who had not quite succeeded in his government mission (we are talking, of course, about ministers from the Civic Coalition). Neither of these cases applies to the health minister, even if one considers it true, rather than a rumor, that Leszczyna had European plans.
The question is whether not running in the upcoming elections will equate to the possibility of continuing the mission at the ministry. On the one hand, one can see no reason why the Prime Minister should thank the work of the minister, whom, after all, he placed in the health ministry with the clear mission of "guarding the budget" (this is not an opinion, but a fact; if anyone doubts this, they should recall Tusk's statements at the end of the year, in which he emphasized the qualities of the candidate for the minister's seat). This is no accusation, on the contrary. It can also be noted that in this field the minister cannot be accused of anything.
Izabela Leszczyna is also doing what any minister in her position would probably do with full conviction: making promises or making announcements about changes that will be made to the system and that will improve its functioning and the situation of patients. So we may hear about "freeing doctors from hospitals" and that hospitals will not be liquidated but transformed. Patients can rejoice that the rules for filling prescriptions will be simplified and doctors can rejoice that the rules for issuing them will be simplified. Entrepreneurs (although it is not Izabela Leszczyna who is the main player) are happy that the burden in the form of health premiums will decrease, and healthcare providers are happy that despite this loss of money for them, there will be no loss of money.
Who wouldn't want to live in such a reality? Even if common sense tells you that it's too good to be true. Common sense, but above all, experience. It echoes common sense, humming - "but it was already there". It interjects, inescapably, hope: - And yet maybe...
