- The introduction of innovative robotic devices - exoskeletons and rehabilitation robots - is a chance for many patients to recover, Health Minister Katarzyna Sójka said in Krotoszyn. A competition for retrofitting medical entities with robotic devices for rehabilitation has been settled. The money comes from the Medical Fund.

A total of 244 treatment entities entered the competition. Funding, totalling PLN 149.5 million, will be awarded to 178 of them.
- The use of robots in rehabilitation increases its effectiveness and enables more patients to be treated. The robot's work is tailored to the patient's capabilities and stages of rehabilitation. It also allows for a greater number of repetitions and intensity of rehabilitation," said Katarzyna Sójka.
As the Health Minister emphasized, the benefits of the robot apply not only to patients, but also to physiotherapists. The robot assists them and thus they are able to work longer and more efficiently. Access to robotic equipment allows them to work with four patients simultaneously.
