The Ministry of Health announces the introduction of an additional stage in the qualification procedure for specialty training for physicians and dentists.
Additional qualification stage for residencies - important information!

The decision was made due to the underutilization of residency spots following the publication of the final lists of qualified and unqualified candidates for the qualification procedure starting October 1, 2024.
Who can participate in the additional stage?
In the additional stage of the qualification procedure may participate:
- Doctors and dentists not qualified for specialty training, who during the earlier stages indicated at least one option covering a priority field of medicine in the residency mode and were not qualified for any of the selected options.
- Those who failed to qualify in the first and second stages.
They cannot take part:
- Persons qualified in the first or second stage who did not confirm the adoption of the indicated option.
The additional stage will be launched on November 22, 2024 in the Education Monitoring System.
