KIF: This ordinance will destroy reimbursed physiotherapy

Discussions that took place, among others during the session of the Senate Health Committee and on March 7, 2022, as well as at previous meetings, they show very clearly that the Ministry of Health, especially the National Health Fund and the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariffs, see no problem with the valuation of physiotherapy and other rehabilitation services - indicates the KIF.

One of the arguments of the government in favor of maintaining the valuations is the lack of comments and complaints from service providers in recent months. Such a procedure, ignoring the approximately 1,000 comments submitted in December, is puzzling and shows a lack of goodwill and willingness to engage in real talks on valuations. At the same time, these institutions do not answer important questions, e.g. on what basis the valuations were made and who gave their opinion. In the opinion of the KIF, the government party once again indicated the value of global amounts allocated for rehabilitation (without dividing them into outpatient, home, inpatient and day services provided in the hospital network and outside it). Unfortunately, on this occasion it was not indicated how much the adjustment ratios for wage increases decreased at the same time.
In addition, without any indication of specific institutions and persons, "environmental representatives" who had accepted the level of valuation were again referred to. It was also alleged that only the KIF was dissatisfied with them and the Chamber was the only one to raise objections. Therefore, the Chamber asked to name these representatives by name.
KIF asks physiotherapists to support efforts in the field of the valuation of physiotherapeutic services and to send comments, questions and descriptions of numerous problems with the implementation of the ordinance changing the valuation.
