How would you sum up 2023 in health care, especially in terms of drug policy?
It was another intense year. A major issue was the revision of the reimbursement law. We managed to complete the changes, and they will now be implemented for several more months. We continued to change the drug programs and actually in all the new drugs that were coming in, we unified the indications. We worked on this difficult element together with consultants. We also carried out new reimbursement coverage in cooperation with the National Health Fund. The National Health Fund had to contract this and work on changes to systems for monitoring. Doctors also had a lot of tasks in connection with this. There was a great deal of work going on. Work is underway to change the prescribing model for physicians and all professions authorized to prescribe drugs. We are preparing completely new regulations aimed at maximum simplification. This is one of the most essential elements to give the best drugs to patients. We will also be able to warn doctors and patients about drugs that are not appropriate in a particular person.
