The current Regulation of the Minister of Health of April 27, 2021 on the Medical Final Examination and the Medical-Dental Final Examination (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 105) specifies the specimens of certificates of submission of the Medical Final Examination and the Medical-Dental Final Examination. The problem solved by this regulation is that the blanks of the existing certificates do not comply with the requirements specified for such documents in the provisions of the Law of November 22, 2018 on Public Documents (Journal of Laws 2024, item 564).

The recommended solution is to specify new specimens: the certificate for taking the Medical Final Examination, hereinafter referred to as the "LEK certificate", and the certificate for taking the Dental Final Examination, hereinafter referred to as the "LDEK certificate". The new specimens of the LEK certificate and the LDEK certificate will have state-of-the-art security features against forgery, counterfeiting and falsification, in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Law of November 22, 2018 on Public Documents for Category Three Documents. The security elements in the substrate will be paper that does not exhibit ultraviolet luminescence, a two-tone running watermark and security fibers. On the other hand, in the case of printing, the security elements will be guilloche background, graphic elements made with ultraviolet-active ink and microprinting. Also permanently applied will be individual marking. The new LEK certificate and the new LDEK certificate will replace the existing certificates issued in this regard. At the same time, in accordance with Article 73(2) of the Law on Public Documents of November 22, 2018, the existing LEK certificates and LDEK certificates will remain valid.
