New deputy health ministers: Katarzyna Kęcka and Tomasz Maciejewski appointed by the Minister of Health

On July 23, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the new composition of the Council of Ministers following the announced government reconstruction. Presenting the composition and plans of the new government, the Prime Minister announced that within days the health department would be completely depoliticized and entrusted to professionals in health care management.
Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda officially introduced the new deputy health ministers on September 9:
Dr. Katarzyna Kęcka, M.D., has served as president of the Board of Directors of the Goleniow Hospital Medical Center since 2019. She holds a master's degree in nursing and is a specialist in cardiac nursing. Professionally, she is also affiliated with the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, where she works as an assistant in the Department of Primary Health Care.
Tomasz Maciejewski, MD, has headed the Mother and Child Institute since 2012. He specializes in gynecology, obstetrics and perinatology. He is an academic lecturer, author of numerous scientific publications and member of scientific societies.

Deputy Minister Katarzyna Kacperczyk will remain in her post.
