The draft financial plan of the National Health Fund has gone to the Fund Council and the parliamentary committees on health and public finance.

How much money for health in 2025?
The NFZ's draft financial plan for next year assumes, among other things, an increase in health funding. The planned cost of medical services exceeds PLN 183.6 billion. This means that the money in the draft plan is more with respect to this year. Specifically, by PLN 26 billion.
This pool provided funds for, among other things:
- Primary health care: nearly PLN 20 billion (up 12.5% by 2024).
- Outpatient specialized care: more than PLN 16.7 billion (11.6% increase by 2024).
- inpatient treatment: PLN 95.8 billion (up 22% by 2024).
- Drug reimbursement: more than PLN 12 billion (22% increase by 2024).
- Psychiatric care and addiction treatment: more than PLN 6 billion (up 10.1% by 2024).
At the same time, the maintenance of the Fund itself is 0.8% of the total budget at the disposal of the National Health Fund.
Higher subsidy from the state budget
The budget the Fund will have at its disposal next year will also include funds from the state budget. The budget subsidy for the NFZ itself is nothing new. However, the share of these funds in the NFZ budget varies, depending on the year.
In 2025, the subsidy from the state budget will amount to PLN 18.3 billion.
