The age of 12-13 is the best time to vaccinate, as this is ahead of possible HPV infection, which can occur through sexual contact. In addition, vaccinating younger teens involves only two doses, which means fewer visits and less stress.

To enroll your child for a vaccination, all you have to do is make an appointment at a Primary Health Care clinic or use the Internet Patient Account option. A third option is to contact us through the hotline available at 800 100 101 (from 8 am to 6 pm).

When enrolling your child for this vaccination, you can choose between two available vaccines (2-valent Cervarix or 9-valent Gardasil9). Both vaccines offer comparable benefits. HPV vaccination has a two-dose schedule. The interval between doses of the vaccine is 6 to 12 months.

The vaccine is well tolerated and safe. It protects against HPV infection and many cancers. It is widely used in 125 countries. In Poland, it is available in primary health care (PHC) facilities.
