Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna has made no secret of the fact that she is very disappointed with President Andrzej Duda's decision on March 29 to refer the amendment to the Pharmaceutical Law to the Polish Parliament with a request to reconsider the law.
- The voice of women has once again been ignored by the head of state. Signing the bill would have meant fewer unwanted pregnancies and fewer abortions. I do not understand this decision. This is an important, expected and needed law," stressed Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna.
At the same time, the Health Minister declares that he will not leave women alone. - We are in the final stages of agreeing on the details with pharmacists and the Supreme Pharmaceutical Chamber," she says. - The morning-after pill will be available as a pharmaceutical service from May 1, Minister Leszczyna assures.
