"Prevention 40+" program extended until April 2025.

The proposed changes in the regulation are:

1) Extension of the implementation phase of the "Prevention 40 PLUS" pilot program for another 4 months, i.e. until April 30, 2025;

2) Introduction of a provision according to which it was indicated that the evaluation phase of the pilot program lasts until June 30, 2025.

The "Prevention 40+" program is a package of diagnostic tests that will identify or exclude symptoms of the most common diseases of civilization.

Eligible for the program are those who, among other things, answer the pilot program's survey questions via:

1. via Internet Patient Account
2. via the central e-Registration hotline (telephone number +48 800 69 60 64, open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm);
3. At the facility where the tests can be performed.

Based on the survey, risk factors will be assessed.

Healthcare services will be provided on the basis of an electronic referral issued by the system.

Anyone eligible - all people over 40 - will be able to take advantage of a package of diagnostic tests at a point that will carry out the "Prevention 40 PLUS" program. All they need to do is report to the facility with an ID card.

What tests are performed as part of the package?

• The diagnostic testing package for women includes tests:

1) Peripheral blood count with percentage pattern and platelets;
2) total cholesterol or control lipid profile;
3) blood glucose;
4) ALT, AspAT, GGTP - tests for evaluation of liver function (liver enzymes);
5) blood creatinine level;
6) general urine examination;
7) blood uric acid level;
8) fecal occult blood - by immunochemical method (iFOBT).

• The diagnostic testing package for men includes the same tests expanded to include PSA - total prostate specific antigen.
• On the other hand, the package of common diagnostic tests is:

1) measurement of blood pressure;
2) measurement of weight, height, waist circumference and calculation of body mass index (BMI);
