  • Although the percentage of reporting to the breast cancer screening program has been increasing in recent years, it is still only a little over 35 percent. We have not yet caught up with the losses caused by the pandemic in this regard. We must sound the alarm strongly and ask Polish women to come forward for mammography.
  • A large group of patients are those who want to know as much as possible about breast cancer treatment. During the therapeutic process, they make more informed decisions and rely on partnership with their doctors.
  • Successive reimbursement lists are increasingly addressing therapeutic needs. Therapies for patients with triple-negative breast cancer have finally appeared. The range of options is increasing, but prevention should still remain the cornerstone.
  • Medical developments are bringing us closer to the fact that the quality of life in treatment is improving. This is ensured, among other things, by new forms of drug delivery, such as subcutaneous therapies.
