It is proposed to extend the deadline for adapting spa treatment facilities and devices to the requirements set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Health on the specification of requirements to be met by spa treatment facilities and devices - until
December 31, 2023
Adoption of the proposed solution, i.e. extension by one year of the deadline for meeting the requirements set out in the above-mentioned The regulation results from the analysis carried out on the basis of the data submitted at the turn of May and June 2022 to the Ministry of Health by the Chief Health Resort Doctors (NLU).
The data concerned the state or stage of advancement of the adaptation of spa treatment facilities and devices to the requirements of the above-mentioned regulations in individual spas, as well as presented the deadlines to which comprehensive adaptation will take place. Data analysis showed that out of 29 out of 47 spas indicated in the survey, an estimated approx. 15% of these facilities and spa treatment facilities will not meet the requirements set out in the above-mentioned regulation by 31 December 2022
Moreover, the analysis of the submitted data concluded that the deadline for December 31, 2023 would be the most optimal to enable entities to continue their efforts to adapt their plants and equipment to the requirements of the regulation. It should also be emphasized that the state of epidemic introduced on the territory of the Republic of Poland resulted in a temporary cessation of spa activities, which, as a consequence, prevented entities from carrying out adaptation works. In view of the above, and bearing in mind the fact that work on a comprehensive amendment to the above-mentioned of the regulation, it is reasonable to extend the deadline for adapting spa treatment facilities and devices to the requirements of the regulation by one year.
