The Ministry of Health is expanding the catalog of electronic medical documentation

The draft regulation proposes to extend the catalog of electronic medical records (EDM) with additional types of medical documentation, i.e. a student's preventive examination card and individual pursuant to Art. 30 of the Act of November 6, 2008 on the rights of the patient and the Patient's Rights Ombudsman (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 849, as amended).
The proposed changes will contribute to providing medical workers with the possibility of easy and quick access to the medical documentation concerning the student, improving the process of cooperation between individual medical employees providing healthcare to the student and simplifying the process of ensuring access to this type of documentation to the legal representatives of the child, respectively, or an adult student. The implementation of the designed solution will translate into increased efficiency and dynamics of information exchange between participants in the process of providing healthcare to students.
