– The oncology network will come into force from the second quarter of next year at the latest – announced the Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski in an interview with RMF radio. Recall that in November, also during an interview for the RMF station, the Minister of Health assured that the draft act on KSO would be considered at the Council of Ministers that month. However, this did not happen.
- I absolutely beat my chest and think it's a failure. On the other hand, I want to say that we are doing everything to ensure that the project is presented at the next Council of Ministers, which is between the holidays. In the first version, it seemed that it was enough to prepare the act, but after discussions, we came to the conclusion that it must be supported by ready-made regulations, said Adam Niedzielski in the RMF studio.
Meanwhile, the network pilot is to be completed at the end of the year. The head of the Ministry of Health announces its continuation.
– It will probably be extended by a quarter. We are in constant contact with those units that participate in the pilot. We have teams of specialists who participate in making decisions on extending certain solutions - said Adam Niedzielski.
