The new ministerial team will be responsible for the implementation of the National Oncology Network

The Team consists of:
1) Chairman - dr hab. n. med. Adam Maciejczyk - chairman of the National Council for Oncology, director of the Lower Silesian Center of Oncology, Pulmonology and Hematology in Wrocław;
2) Deputy Chairman - Michał Dzięgielewski - Director of the Medical Department at the Ministry of Health;
3) members:
a) Agnieszka Beniuk-Patoła - deputy director in the Department of Healthcare at the Ministry of Health,
b) Bartłomiej Trzmiel – representative of the Healthcare Department at the Ministry of Health,
c) Anna Leśniewska – representative of the Healthcare Department at the Ministry of Health,
d) Paweł Masiarz – Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation in the Ministry of Health,
e) Daniel Rutkowski - Deputy Director of the Department of Healthcare Benefits at the National Health Fund,
f) Filip Urbański – Deputy Director of the Department of Analyzes and Strategy at the National Health Fund,
g) Witold Modzelewski - Deputy Director for Uniform Services and Beneficiaries in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Branch of the National Health Fund,
h) Andrzej Sarnowski - Director of the Division (DIII), Deputy Director for SIM development and implementation at the e-Health Centre,
i) Justyna Pancerow - Director of the Department of Implementation of the e-Health System in the e-Health Centre,
j) Dominik Dziurda - Director of the Department of Health Care Services at the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System,

n) Bartosz Maleszczuk - representative of the Lower Silesian Center of Oncology, Pulmonology and Hematology in Wrocław and the Polish Society of Medical Coders.
The tasks of the Team include:
1) development of a model for financing oncological care services provided by entities performing medical activity, in two variants:
a) Variant I - for entities that will join the National Oncology Network, hereinafter referred to as "KSO", for the first qualification for individual levels of oncological care in KSO,
b) Variant II - for entities qualified for individual levels of oncological care in KSO - until January 31, 2023;
2) indication of measures and indicators for assessing the quality of oncological care and setting a schedule for their introduction to the KSO IT system - by January 31, 2023;
3) standardization of reporting and billing data on oncological care in the KSO, which will be collected in the KSO IT system - by January 31, 2023;
4) redefining and updating billing products dedicated to rapid diagnosis and oncological therapy - by March 31, 2023;
5) developing changes in the area of verification and validation rules for oncological care services - by March 31, 2023;
6) defining the rules for settling oncological care services with the use of a correction factor for achieving a certain value of oncological care assessment indicators - by January 31, 2023;
7) analysis of the implementation assumptions for the KSO IT system developed by the e-Health Center - by February 28, 2023;
8) development of a schedule for the integration of the billing systems of the National Health Fund with the KSO IT system - by May 31, 2023;
9) developing a model of information flow within the KSO - by May 31, 2023;
10) development of assumptions for the process of coordination of oncological care in KSO, taking into account ensuring consistency in the field of reporting and settlement of health care services - by June 30, 2023;
11) development of changes to the oncology package, including the rules for the operation of the oncological diagnostics and treatment card referred to in Art. 32a of the Act of 27 August 2004 on health care services financed from public funds (Journal of Laws of 2022, items 2561, 2674 and 2770) - until 30 June 2023; Official Journal of the Minister of Health - 2 - Pos. 5
