The Sejm passed the act on minimum wages in health

Just before the vote, health minister Adam Niedzielski addressed the deputies, saying that the adoption of the law was a milestone in repairing the Polish health care system. - So far, we have taken a few steps which guarantee that this system will develop in the coming years in a calm atmosphere of ensuring financing for the health of Poles - said Niedzielski, referring to the so-called the act of 7 percent GDP for health. He also added that he was happy with the calm atmosphere that accompanied the work on the act and that he thanked representatives of local governments and trade unions of health care workers for their participation in the "good discussion", although, for example, local governments and trade unions of doctors and dentists as well as nurses and midwives in general they did not participate in works on the project and their comments were ignored.
