On June 28, the minister of health signed an amendment to the ordinance on guaranteed benefits in POZ, and a day later the ordinance of the president of the National Health Fund was published with details concerning, inter alia, the so-called a small entrusted budget, i.e. a package of new diagnostic tests that can be ordered by GPs.

The most expensive was the evaluation of the H. pylori antigen in the stool (laboratory test), the cheapest was the strep-test for the detection of streptococcal antigen. In addition, the Fund, which is pointed out by GPs, specifies in the ordinance "the expected number of tests". In total, the payer plans to spend 95 million 143 thousand zlotys on the implementation of the extended research package in the second half of 2022. 578 zlotys.

There are nine items on the list of tests that can be ordered by doctors in primary care clinics. The National Health Fund assessed the benefits:

ferritin - PLN 20;

vitamin B12 - PLN 21;

folic acid - PLN 16;

anti-CCP - PLN 57;

CRP, rapid quantitative test (population until 6 years of age) - PLN 14;

anti-HCV antibodies - PLN 22;

H. pylori antigen in faeces - cassette test - PLN 23;

H. pylori antigen in faeces - laboratory test - PLN 61;

Strep-test - PLN 12.

According to the announcements of the Ministry of Health, the diagnostic test package will be extended again this autumn - incl. o research in the field of cardiology - for this, however, additional funds will have to be found.

The ordinance of the president of the National Health Fund also introduces changes regarding the implementation of tasks related to the implementation of the Cardiovascular Diseases Prevention program. The novelty is, among others, the introduction of a quarterly and annual incentive for healthcare providers providing health services as part of the PD prevention, the amount of which will depend on the entity's involvement in the implementation of the program, measured by the coverage ratio of the population to which it is addressed.
