The program is a continuation of the nationwide health policy program for the prevention and early detection of rheumatoid arthritis. COWZS will be implemented for 3 years in 15 centers for rheumatoid arthritis, in 11 provinces. The program's main goal is to speed up diagnosis and thus improve the effectiveness of therapy.

Comprehensive care will be provided to patients with early arthritis - UCS, rheumatoid arthritis - RA, psoriatic arthritis - Lupus, ankylosing spondylitis - AS and spondyloarthropathy - SpA.

- The pilot regulates a precise management path. Patients at an early stage of the disease will be referred to specialized centers, says Minister Katherine Sójka.

The program will be coordinated by the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation.
