What's in the coalition agreement about health?

What the coalition partners declare:

The coalition wants to dramatically improve the quality and accessibility of the health care system.

We will increase outlays for health care. We will abolish limits on treatment by the National Health Service.

We will introduce mechanisms for debt relief for hospitals and make the valuation of health services more realistic.

We will provide universal and accessible state-funded psychological and psychiatric assistance.

We will increase the role of Primary Health Care facilities.

We will expand the powers of representatives of other medical and non-medical professions to improve the functioning of the system.

Every effort will be made to shorten the queues to specialists.

Psychological care will be available at each school.

We will strengthen women's rights, which will be a key area of the Coalition's work.

We will annul the 2020 Constitutional Court ruling. Women have the right to decide for themselves. The state will provide special support for couples planning parenthood by funding the IVF procedure and full access to free prenatal testing.

We will ensure the implementation of modern standards of perinatal care. Access to free anesthesia will be the rule, not the exception. Special emphasis will be placed on expanding the nursery network.

At the same time, the parties to the Coalition agree that in the interest of building social capital and equalizing the position of women in the labor market, it is necessary to provide additional support for women to return to work after maternity leave.

Social benefits must be supplemented, especially in the area of systemic support for families, people with disabilities, caregivers of dependents and seniors.

The coalition sees the need for comprehensive social policy solutions. We will simplify the system of jurisprudence, pass a law on assisted living for dependents.
