The number of hospitalized patients, despite the rotation, has not been decreasing for some time. Doctors say that there have not been so many patients with rubella for years. - Rosacea is characterized by erythematous-type skin lesions accompanied by: fever with chills and pain. Rosacea is a bacterial disease caused by streptococcus, which causes inflammation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. As a result of a minor injury, the bacteria penetrate the skin and subcutaneous tissue and then an infection develops. This should not be underestimated, because if left untreated, the disease occupies larger and larger areas of the body," stresses an infectious disease specialist from the WSZZ in Kielce, dr. Piotr Stępień.
Treatment of rosacea is carried out at home, but if the therapy does not improve or has a severe course, hospitalization is necessary, which lasts about two weeks. The form of treatment should be decided by the family doctor.
Rosacea can take a more severe course, especially in immunocompromised individuals with multiple comorbidities.
