New features in myIKP app - water drinking counter and list of free medicines
Published Sept. 1, 2023 12:11
With the Water Drink Meter now available on myIKP, users can take care of proper hydration levels. The app helps calculate daily water requirements. During the day, the liquids drunk should be entered, with the system suggesting the type of drink. It also shows what percentage of the daily goal has been met. The amount of water drunk is also shown on a daily and weekly chart. The app can also send reminders to drink another beverage.
Prevention in myIKP app
Proper hydration, tailored physical activity or a balanced diet are pillars of preventive health care. By making small changes in your daily life, you can prevent many diseases, especially diseases of civilization. Patients are increasingly looking for solutions to help them do this. That's why more preventive features are being systematically added to the myIKP app. Already, users can check the daily number of steps taken, take advantage of the "8 weeks to health" prevention and training plans, and take care of a proper diet thanks to NFZ nutrition plans. Through the myIKP app, users can also take advantage of the Prevention 40 PLUS program.
List of free medicines always at hand
As of September 1, children under the age of 18 and people over 65 are entitled to free medicines. The full list of free drugs is available on the Internet Patient Account and on the myIKP app. Medications can be searched in 3 ways, by: age group of people for whom they are intended, drug group or drug name (alphabetically).
Your health on your phone
The myIKP app is a simple, convenient and secure access to the most important functions of the Internet Patient Account. It will receive your e-prescriptions and e-referrals, make it easier for you to purchase medications and remind you to take them. It will also provide access, for example, to your child's medical records and those who authorize you to do so. The myIKP app also provides assistance in case of a life-threatening emergency, many preventive functions, as well as monthly quizzes to test your health knowledge.
The myIKP app can be downloaded for Android from Google Play or iOS from the App Store.
