The Headquarters of the National Health Fund presented a draft order of the President of the National Health Fund amending the order on the terms and conditions of contracts for providing comprehensive oncology services (draft dated 17.10.2023).

As the explanatory note reads, the changes introduced are due to the entry into force of the NSB regulation, which defines new conditions for the implementation and scope of the comprehensive oncological care benefit for breast cancer recipients and introduces a unified model for comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The model is to be based on the coordinated activities of a single center, providing the required infrastructure for the implementation of comprehensive care services and a multidisciplinary treatment team to plan and coordinate the treatment process.
The NFZ is looking forward to receiving opinions and comments on the draft order in question by October 25, 2023, 12:00 pm (the date of receipt at the Fund Headquarters will count), which should be sent only in an electronic version to the e-mail address: [email protected], according to the template in the editable version of Excel (provided at the LINK)
