TZF Polfa S.A. joins PASMI

- Our company is undergoing dynamic changes. We have launched a unique action addressed to patients as part of the TZF.HEALTH platform, promoting well-being and communing with art. There are more and more over-the-counter drugs in our product portfolio, which is why we decided to join the remaining 18 drug manufacturers affiliated with the PASMI organization - said Mariusz Borkowski, director of the Marketing and Public Relations Department.

- We are very pleased to welcome among the members of PASMI a dynamically developing pharmaceutical company, which in its activities supports the principles of responsible use of over-the-counter drugs in Poland - said Ewa Jankowska, president of PASMI.

The company TZF Polfa S.A. currently working:

· Over the development of the diabetic portfolio: new generation oral and injection antidiabetic drugs. The company is in the process of registering several modern drugs used in type 2 diabetes,
· Over products used in diseases of the urinary system, including those that are unavailable in Poland,
On therapeutic areas new to Polfa, such as oncology (products used, among others, in the treatment of multiple myeloma, breast tumor, neuroendocrine tumors), anesthesiology, fungal infections, immunosuppressive products used in autoimmune diseases.
The above-mentioned drugs will be produced commercially at the Center for Development and Production of Oncological Drugs, which will be launched in 2023. As part of the investment, a new building will be built with a usable area of ​​approx. 12,000 m2, external dimensions of 69 m x 52 m. Up to 150 people will work in the building (in the production, laboratory and office areas). The building will have three levels:
· Drug production,
Technical facilities
· Laboratories and offices.

It specializes in the production of drugs that provide wide groups of patients with access to modern methods of treatment, especially in the area of ​​antibacterial drugs (antibiotics); anti-diabetic drugs (insulin); central nervous system drugs and dermatological products. The offer includes: prescription drugs (so-called Rx), both reimbursed and non-reimbursed; over-the-counter drugs (OTC), drugs used in inpatient treatment (hospitals); dietary supplements and medical devices.
The annual production capacity of the plant is 65 million packages of solid drugs (tablets, capsules), aerosols and gels. The plant has 30 production lines.
