The event was sponsored by the British Embassy in Poland. Jen MacNaughtan, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy, spoke at the opening of the congress.
- This is a great opportunity to think about your health, the health of your loved ones, and to examine existing standards and systemic approaches to women's health. A consultation on a women's health strategy was conducted in England. On this basis, the first women's health strategy in our history was published in 2022. The British government is working all the time to develop this strategy, and priorities for this year include menstrual and menopause problems and maternity care. I am pleased to see that the priorities within the UK Women's Health Strategy are in line with those of the Polish government," said Jen MacNaughtan.
The call for a national women's health strategy also accompanied previous editions of the event. At this year's event, many of the voices that resounded during the panel discussions could successfully be the content of such a document.
The event was attended by health care experts and authorities from the world of medicine, as well as well-known people involved in health education. These include model Bogna Sworowska, singer Anna Jurksztowicz, writer Krystyna Kofta and graphic artist Andrzej Pągowski.
