
Environmental health and climate change is an extremely important area of contemporary research. Since 2021, the team has been conducting analyses of health determinants resulting from the exposure of Polish residents to environmental factors and variability in meteorological conditions. The results obtained are eminently applicable; they support the process of adaptation to the ongoing climate change and provide a basis for strengthening public policies. And all in accordance with the motto: Science to improve the quality of life of Polish residents.
The conference aims to popularize the results and latest research techniques, as well as promote the reliable transfer of scientific reports in the mass media. The event is planned in the form of several lectures by prominent experts in the fields of medicine, analysis and environmental monitoring; as well as discussions on future educational and legislative measures necessary to build our country's environmental and climate resilience. The Minister of Climate and Environment, the Minister of Infrastructure have assumed honorary patronage of the Event. The panel discussions will include representatives of public institutions, research centers, health, climate and environmental organizations and movements.
